Eski Büyükelçi ve Milletvekili Onur Öymen bir dizi etkinlikte yer almak üzere Londra’ya geliyor. İTDF (İngiltere Türk Dernekleri Federasyonu’nun davetlisi olarak, Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Öğretim Üyesi Dr. İsmail Pamuk ile birlikte Londra’ya gelecek olan diplomat-yazar Dr. Onur Öymen 18 Nisan günü  Kings College’ de yapılacak ‘Ermenistan-Türkiye ilişkilerinde son gelişmeler ve güncel meseleler’ adlı konferans-panelde konuşacak. İngiltere Türk Dernekleri Federasyonu tarafından Onur Öymen- İsmail Pamuk konferansuına ilişkin açıklama şöyle;

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS AND CURRENT ISSUES IN ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS

The first part of the evening will be devoted to a newly translated, early 20th century book by a famous French poet and academic Pierre Loti.

Dr Onur Öymen, retired NATO Ambassador and a writer will present and discuss this book’s historical relevance to the subject at hand.

In the second part of the evening Dr İsmail Pamuk, from Bahçeşehir University, İstanbul, will be discussing the recent legal judgments from Europe and their relevance for Turkish Armenian relations and how these judgements could be utilised to develop better relations between the two nations and peoples.

The Moderator for this event will be Dr Mustafa Ataç, who has wide knowledge in the subject.

There will be a Question and Answer session.
